The elevator for visitors with reduced mobility is currently under maintenance. Access to the terrace requires climbing 46 steps.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
No need to book in advance! Just turn up at the ticket office on the day of your visit with your proof of entitlement to free priority access to the monument with your companion.
Admission to the monument is free for disabled persons and their companions, upon presentation of valid proof (valid Mobility and Inclusion card for the French public issued by the CDAPH (or foreign equivalent)).
The mobility and inclusion card (CMI) with "priority" mention only, as well as the parking card, do not give the right to free travel.
The monument provides tools to enhance your comfort during your visit:
These tools are lent in exchange for an ID. Please request them from the staff.
The monument can only be reached via the Passage du Souvenir, a tunnel at the top of the Avenue des Champs-Elysées and at the top of the Avenue de la Grande-Armée via a staircase. It is not possible to cross the Place Charles de Gaulle on foot.
This passageway is not accessible to people with reduced mobility. A drop-off point (for taxis or private vehicles) is therefore provided on the median opposite the Avenue de la Grande Armée for access to the monument. It is symbolised on the ground by a blue pictogram. Once you have got out of the drop-off vehicle, report to the reception staff on the forecourt. They are located at the security checkpoint and will guide you to the ticket office and then to the entrance to the monument (with priority access).
