LECTURE TOURS

Victor Hugo was fascinated by the Arc de Triomphe, and dedicated numerous poems to it. The monument was also the venue for his funeral on June 1, 1885, attended by over 2 million people. Stroll through the monument to the rhythm of his writings!

HERITAGE WORKSHOPS

After a tour of the site, participants are invited to express themselves in a creative writing workshop.

The workshop is not suitable for higher education.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

Access to the monument via the pedestrian underpass at the top of avenue des Champs-Elysées and avenue de la Grande Armée. Elevator available for visitors with reduced mobility.
