LECTURE TOURS

What is a triumphal arch? What do its sculpted decorations tell us? This tour will help you explore its architecture and read its iconographic program through its allegories and high and low reliefs.

HERITAGE WORKSHOPS

Groups take part in a themed tour, followed by a hands-on indoor workshop to better understand the history and symbols of the Arc de Triomphe. This fun workshop lets you explore its architecture and read its iconographic program through its allegories and high and low reliefs.

The workshop is not suitable for higher education.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

Access to the monument via the pedestrian underpass at the top of avenue des Champs-Elysées and avenue de la Grande Armée. Elevator available for visitors with reduced mobility.
