Due to the extreme heat, the Arc de Triomphe will be closed on Wednesday, August 12, Thursday, August 13, and Friday, August 14, from 2:30 p.m. (last admission at 1:45 p.m.) to 7:30 p.m.
On Wednesday, August 12, at 7:30 p.m. and until the end of the eclipse, the number of visitors inside the site will be limited to 250 people.
The elevator is currently undergoing maintenance. Access to the terrace is via the stairs only.
