Meeting point in the tunnel 10 minutes beforehand, near the stone benches next to the ticket office.
As part of the centenary of the Flame of Remembrance (1923 - 2023), also known as the Flame of the Nation, the Comittee of the Flame under the Arc de Triomphe is joining forces with the monument for a tribute exhibition. The exhibition will run from mid-October to mid-December 2023.
The exhibition will feature a selection of photographs illustrating major rekindling ceremonies since 1923. It will take place in the Passage du Souvenir, in the wall display cases near the stone benches, between the torch lights.
With the aim of promoting heritage, culture and the transmission of remembrance, the Arc de Triomphe is offering guided tours in French and English around the exhibition and the centenary of the Flame of Remebrance.
These tours will start in the tunnel, where the exhibition will be on display, and continue on the forecourt and inside the monument. The tour will end at around 6pm, so that visitors can attend the rekindling ceremony if they wish.
