Presentation

The Hôtel de la Marine, an emblematic monument on the Place de la Concorde, is a superb architectural ensemble created in the ^18th century by Ange-Jacques Gabriel, the King's chief architect. It housed the Garde-Meuble de la Couronne until 1798, before becoming the headquarters of the Ministry of the Navy for over two hundred years.
