Open during the summer

15th July

On 15 July, the flame of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games will pass through the Place Charles-de-Gaulle-Étoile, at the foot of the Arc de triomphe. The opening hours of the monument are likely to change on that day. More details to follow shortly.

26 July

On 26 July, to coincide with the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games on the Seine, the opening times of the Arc de triomphe are likely to change on that day. More details to follow shortly.

This summer

The rest of the time, the monument opens its doors at the usual times, from 10am to 11pm (last access 45 minutes before). More information on the Practical Information page.

In the event of exceptional and unforeseen closures, please note that individual tickets booked on our e-ticketing service are automatically refunded. You do not need to make a claim online.

For safety and visitor comfort reasons, the Arc de triomphe will not be open to groups between 26 July and 11 August 2024.

Access and transport
